US Spring Wheat Yield Record?

USDA rated 71% of the spring wheat crop in good or excellent condition on 6/23/2024 which is in the upper 50 % of the mid June data collected since 1994 Our regression model using historical condition & yield data suggests a US spring wheat  yield of nearly 50 bushels per harvested acre which would exceed the current record set in 2019.

The first US spring wheat survey based  estimate of the season is scheduled for release July 12, 2024.
