Seasonal Analysis for Midwest Cash Corn

Cash corn in the Midwest has risen 60+ cents per bushel since early harvest. The accompanying charts display the 50 year price seasonal for Corn Belt cash corn and the application of the seasonal to generate a monthly price forecast for the remainder of the 2024/2025 US corn crop year.

The monthly forecasts are only based on the historical seasonal, but they do provide a handy guide to the progress of prices through the winter, springĀ  and summer. The forecast prices have been adjusted to the price level prevailing during the 2024 harvest.
