Corn Crop Rating Follows Seasonal Pattern – 08/02/2021

USDA rated 63% of the US corn crop in good or excellent condition on 8/1/2021 which is the lowest rating of the season but still in line with the normal seasonal pattern. Our model forecasts the national average corn yield at 178 bushels per harvested acre which is not significantly different from the USDA’s July trend yield forecast.
